CiCLE Classic Organiser Colin Clews confirmed this morning that they've had to postpone the popular cycle race until next year.
The race, that boasts of being the most popular cycle road race in the country hasn't taken place since 2019 due to the Coronavirus outbreak where it was won by American cyclist Colin Joyce.
The race is characterised by its off-road sections and short, sharp climbs on narrow and treacherous farm tracks

Posting on their social media account Colin said: "Sorry, the brakes have finally had to go on, and the engine off for 2021. Stay safe and well!!! We WILL be back in 2022!!!!!"
The race attracts cyclists from across the World and takes in a very tough track from Oakham, through the villages and ended in Melton.
