Farmers from across the region will descend on Melton Mowbray today to show their frustration on the failure of the Government to include food standards in the Agriculture Bill, which would ensure the country isn’t flooded with lower quality produce, which would undercut UK farmers.

They will gather at Melton Cattle Market in their tractors at 10:30am before walking to the Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe in Nottingham Street at 11:30am.
They will also drive the tractors around the town to show their upset.
