Police appeal after pedestrian injured in non-stop collision in Melton
Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was seriously injured following a non-stop collision in Melton Mowbray. The incident happened at around 3.40pm on Sunday 2nd November on Kirby Lane and involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, believed to be a small beige car, which failed to stop at the scene. Man jailed for historic abuse over 40 years ago
A man who abused a teenage girl more than 40 years ago is starting a prison sentence after being found guilty of historic sexual abuse. 76 year old John Raisen, of North Parade in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment yesterday at Leicester Crown Court.
