A606 blocked while emergency services make scene safe

The A606 is currently closed between Upper Broughton and Nether Broughton following a collison.

A spokesperson from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 08:41 this morning of an RTC make safe at Main Road, Nether Broughton.

First impressions message was a car involved in an RTC with a tractor. No persons trapped."

Highways requested the road is closed due to damage to the highway.

Appliances from Melton Mowbray and Southern Stations are in attendance.
