Appeal for footage after burglary in Asfordby

Police investigating a burglary in Asfordby are urging any motorists who were in the area to check their video recording equipment for footage.


A report was made to police just before 6.55pm on Wednesday 26 January that someone had broken into a flat on Bradgate Lane and made off in a Honda Civic towards Asfordby Hill School. Some foreign currency was stolen from the property.

A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have been driving in the area around the time of the incident is being asked to check the footage on the video recording equipment and get in touch if they have captured anything that may assist the investigation."
