Body found in search for missing man

Officers searching for a man reported missing have found a body.

Police searching for 60-year-old Saxon Marlow found the body of a man in the Pickwell area, near Melton Mowbray, this afternoon (Tuesday).

Formal identification is yet to take place but the body is believed to be that of Mr Marlow.

Mr Marlow had last been seen in the Pickwell area on Monday morning (31 May).

A Leicestershire Police statement said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner."

Officers have thanked everyone who shared the appeal to find Mr Marlow and who assisted with enquiries.
