Pair bailed after early morning car pursuit through streets of Melton

Two men have been released on police bail following an early morning car pursuit through Melton in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The pursuit, which started in the Twyford area, came to an end in Nottingham Road in Melton with the car coming in to contact with an unmarked police vehicle near the junction of Kipling Drive.

Social media was full of concern in the early hours of Monday that the car was being followed by officers and refusing to stop with one person saying it was a 'dangerous situation if you're out on the roads'.
