Sky Broadband down for thousands of customers

Thousands of people across the UK are unable to access the internet today as problems continue with Sky Broadband.

The internet connection was lost for people across the country on Wednesday evening and appears to still be having connection issues today (Thursday).

The latest issues appear to be linked to a huge outage that impacted hundreds of customers across the UK from 7pm last night.

A tweet from the company issued today said: "Engineers are still currently on site and working towards a resolution to restore services ASAP. More updates to follow when available. You can keep up to date on the My Sky App or check your status here: http://sky.com/mybroadband."

It is not yet known when full connectivity will be restored.
