Stathern summer camp abuser admits drugging Wife

Jon Ruben the man who has previously admitted drugging and abusing children at a summer camp in the Vale of Belvoir has admitted drugging his Wife.
The 76-year-old from Ruddington in Nottinghamshire was arrested last July after eight chlidren and one adult fell ill at Stathern Lodge last Summer.
During a short hearing today at Leicester Crown Court the retired vet and primary school teacher admitted drugging his Wife.

The plea hearing was told Ruben had admitted the offence of unlawfully and maliciously administered a noxious substance with intent to injure, aggrieve, or annoy, after giving a voluntary interview.
The court heard the offence took place between 26th and 29th July.
Jon Ruben pleaded guilty to 17 charges at Leicester Crown Court on 14th November. Ruben has been remanded in to custody.
He will be sentenced at Leicester Crown Court on Friday.
