Train delays after lines blocked in Melton area

Trains are currently unable to run between Leicester & Loughborough and Melton Mowbray.

CrossCountry Trains say that 'all lines are blocked' due to the signalling system fault between Leicester and Melton, meaning delays to services between Birmingham New Street and Stansted Airport.

East Midlands Railway has cancelled 3 services through Melton this morning due to the issue.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.
