Woman to appear in court over alleged harassment

A Melton woman is due to appear in court over alleged harassment charges.

47-year-old Roma Frisby will appear before magistrates charged with one count of harassment without violence.

Frisby, of Dalby Road, Melton will appear before Leicester Magistrates Court on 28th August.

A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: “Roma Frisby, 47, of Dalby Road, Melton, has been charged with one count of harassment without violence.

The charge relates to an allegation of messages of a threatening nature being sent to a man on social media on June 22, 2026.“

Frisby has been released on bail.
