A Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Spokesperson said: "Today we held an exercise at Brooksby College Equine Campus. This helps us to carry out realistic training and also benefits the college by testing their evacuation procedures for the animals.

Our Technical Rescue crew from Southern Fire Station also held a session for the students to observe some techniques we use for large animal rescues. There was some fantastic interaction from the students and we thank the college for allowing us to use such a great training venue."
