Motorists urged to avoid area while firefighters tackle 'significant fire'

Motorists are being advised to avoid Cold Overton Road near Langham following a fire at a residential property.
Firefighters were called to the blaze just after 10am this morning (Friday) to a domestic dwelling consisting of two floors fully involved in fire.
Multiple resources have been sent to the scene with six fire engines tackling the blaze alongside the Aerial Ladder Platfform.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service said: "This is a substantial residential fire of a two storey barn conversion, which began around 10am this morning.
Five of our pumps are in attendance, plus our aerial ladder platform.
No persons were reported and there are no casualties."
This has been described as an ongoing incident by the Fire Service and residents who live nearby have been advised to close their windows and doors to avoid smoke inhalation.
Crews are attending from multiple stations across the county including Melton, Shepshed, Oakham, Central and Birstall.
