Overnight closure for major Melton road begins Wednesday

A major Melton road will be closed overnight for 6 nights to allow for carriageway patching works to take place.

Scalford Road will be closed from the Norman Way junction to Clark Drive between 20:00 and 06:00 for six weeknights from tomorrow (Wednesday).

A spokesperson for Leicestershire County Council who granted the permit said workers would manage residential and emergency access to neighbouring streets.

The spokesperson added that the carriageway will be cleared outside these times.
