Heavy rainfall across the New Year period causes issues in the Melton Borough yesterday as Storm Henk added to already high water levels.
The River Wreake reached a peak of 2.31m last night (Tuesday) and multiple floods were reported in Melton and surrounding villages.
Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service were called to several incidents across the County including rescuing occupiers from vehicles.
Melton Mowbray crews were called to six incidents on Tuesday and in to Wednesday morning.

A Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "Melton was deployed to 6 Incidents over the day, into the early hours of this morning.

These incidents consisted of members of the public being rescued from their cars in flood waters and evacuating residents from their premises."
Crews attended an incident on Saxby Road in Melton around 21:30 when the river burst on to the road and in to homes. Cadent Gas were also in attendance following reports of a gas leak.
Leicestershire Police closed the road until the early hours of Wednesday morning when the incident was resolved.
Commuters also struggled with roads out of town with Asfordby Road heavily flooded and impassible near the Golf Course and just before the Welby Road roundabout with many drivers forced to turn around and find alternative routes.

Station Lane in Asfordby was flooded too as the river burst its banks and the road became impassible.
Flood warnings remain in place today (Wednesday) including the River Wreake at Thrussington and Ratcliffe on the Wreake.
River levels are forecast to rise further at the Frisby river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible. Areas most at risk are Thrussington, and parts of Ratcliffe on Wreake, including East Goscote, Rearsby and Brooksby.
Flood warning area: River Wreake at Thrussington and Ratcliffe on the Wreake including the Beedles Lake Golf Course at East Goscote and mills and farms on the riverside.
