Appeal after medication stolen in Oakham

An appeal is being made to locate vaccines stolen from a car in Oakham this afternoon.


At 4.15pm, a health worker reported that a box containing adrenaline and Hepatitis B vaccines, as well as needles and syringes, had been stolen from a vehicle in Lands End Way.

Adrenaline should only be given by a medical professional and if it is taken by a person with a normal heart rate, death can occur without medical intervention.


Anyone who has seen the equipment discarded in the Oakham area or has information regarding the theft is asked to call 101, quoting incident 396 of 22 March.
