Appeal after motorcyclist dies in Kirby Bellars

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle rider died following a collision in Kirby Bellars yesterday afternoon (Saturday 20 November).


The collision occurred around 4.30pm on Station Lane and involved a white Yamaha FZ1 motorbike.


The rider, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.


Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the motorcycle being ridden beforehand.

Also, if anyone was travelling between Kirby Bellars and Asfordby around the time of the collision and have video recording equipment installed in their vehicles, they are asked to check the footage and get in touch if they captured anything that may assist with the investigation.


Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC 4695 Louise McMahon on 101, quoting incident 434 of 20 November.
