Appeal for information after report of collision in the Melton area

Leicestershire Police are appealing for information after it was reported that the driver of a car could have come in to contact with a cyclist during her journey.

Police say that a report was received last night (Sunday 3 August) from the driver of a black VW Golf who informed a friend that she may possibly have hit a cyclist while she was travelling along some rural roads, from Harby, just outside Melton towards Leicester, around 9pm.

It is believed she may have used the A46 during her route.
