Armed police were dispatched to a Melton estate yesterday morning following reports of threats being made to occupants of an address in Leicester.
Several armed officers were spotted in the Drummond Walk area yesterday with several marked and unmarked vehicles.

A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 8.30am yesterday (Thursday 29 September) a report was received that the occupants of a property had been threatened in Tolcarne Road, Leicester.
As part of ongoing enquiries and in the interest of public and police safety, armed officers attended an address in Drummond Walk, Melton, shortly before 10am. No arrests were made and the investigation is continuing."
