Two people have been charged with possession with intent to supply Class B and Class A drugs following a warrant being issued at an address in Melton.
Officers from Melton Neighbourhood Priority, Safer Streets and Town North Dedicated Neighbourhood Teams attended a property in Melton on 8th January following intelligence received that the property was being used in the supply of controlled drugs.
Two people were arrested from the address on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class B drugs. During a search of the property officers uncovered a significant amount of Class A controlled drugs.

It's been confirmed that so far only a small portion of the exhibits have been forensically tested.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "These exhibits have been confirmed to be heroin and crack cocaine, and they have been valued at over £14,000. Once all exhibits have been tested, this figure is likely to reach around the £30,000 mark."
Both suspects were remanded and have since appeared in court. Nichole Hunt of Lancers Drive, Melton, and Adrian Nelson of Colleymoor Leys Lane, Nottingham, have now been charged with Possession with Intent to Supply Class B and Class A drugs.
A full trial at Crown Court will take place in February.
Nelson has also been remanded into custody until this court date.
