Police appeal after motorcyclist found on main road

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a motorcyclist was found on the A607 near Denton.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision in which a 44-year-old male motorcyclist sadly lost his life.”

The man was discovered on Friday morning (August 7th) on the A607, just outside Denton, and was sadly pounced dead at the scene, after what was believed to be a collision that involved only his motorcycle.

Investigating officers in the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit (SCIU) are hoping to find out more about the man’s movements leading up to the collision, and they would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him in the area between around 7.45pm and 8pm on Thursday evening.
