Reports of burglary at local industrial estate

Leicestershire Police are investigating following reports of criminal damage and theft from a former factory in the Melton area.

Police were notified of a report of damage and theft on 3rd May that items had been taken and some damage had been caused nearby.

A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "Police have received a report of a burglary and criminal damage at a premises in Asfordby Hill.

The report was made to police on Saturday 3 May that six computers and two televisions had been taken from an outbuilding the location.

Damage has been caused to an electricity substation at the same location."
